Just park your car at a distance and keep wind direction in mind. It never comes straight down into the barrel, making a random hit somewhere around the launch point. Due to this you may wanna fire it at a small angle, like 88* instead of 90*.

Or, when you can spend 2000 bucks on a single cannon, why not spend 100 on a chronometer?
