Yeah, pneumatic. Maybe combustion. It would be epic, but I don't have the money, or building space, let alone the tools. I don't think the gov would like it, but if I owned about 5 acres, I might be able to get away with some low shots at a target.

How long do you think it'd take to fill a 48ci to say ~2000psi?

well..... I would say maybe 30-45 min just counting pumping time. Cause you would have to give it a break every 5min. To let the pump cool down.

I have a 48ci tank. I'll fill it to 2000 psi and let you know how long it takes:)

I would stay below 500psi. I had 2 of them that I ran up to 1000psi for a little while, but the compressor didn't last very long. I probably got 15-20 fills before the pump died.

For how long have you opperated it at 1000?

Because my 2 compressors did not last long. Maybe I got 2 pieces of crud, lol. But I'm just saying mine did not last.

What kind do you have? And how long have you used it.

I have been using it for about 3 months, I take it up to 1000 psi once a week, normally during weekends, because during the week I don't have time. I hope my compressor is durable, as I only have one :(

What's the size of the chamber that you charge to 600 daily?

Yes I got some times today, here are the times:

270 pumps & 5 min will get 1000psi
420 pumps & 8min. 52 sec. will get 1500psi
570 pumps & 13min. will get 2000psi

Hey guys, I went ahead with the mod and attached a regulator and quick connect to hook up my air compressor to the input on the pump.

Check out these facts:
before the mod it took me 13 min. and 300 pumps to fill a 20oz. c02 tank to 1000psi.

After the mod it only took me 100 pumps and 3min. to fill the said tank to said pressure. I adjusted the reg to 25 psi input to the pump.

I also noticed that the pump head stays cooler.
