You want a custom 316L stainless steel Piston valve with an Aluminium piston That has a Delrin sealing face.

Wouldn't neoprene have a better seal or do you think the pressure forcing the piston to the barrel will offset any lack of seal?

The Delrin would seal at high pressures, soft sealing faces would crush and wear.
Where's my Chuck key?
