if you make a replacement barrell like this and then have the sabot in it should make it work but the fluting in the barrel should be a 1/2 inch above where the sabot meets the spring (a short, soft spring) to realease gases after the shot to relive pressure and spare the sabot.also the cone in the back gives a extra place for gases to press against giving it more power. This doesn't actually work, even though you're increasing the area, the gas is pushing at an angle away from the line of the barrel, so the net force on the projectile is the same.

thanks for that i thought that it would be like if you push gas through a cone it will consentrateit alitle bit more quickly
