If you disassemble the stungun and put it in a project box know one will ever know. I live in New Jersey and thats what i did.

Really though if you don't do something stupid and have the cops come in the first place then i say do it. I have one and I live in NJ where just about everything is illegal even wrist rockets and i never had a problem.
