I use them with 15mm ID barrels with the spring in place and the blow gun not off centered and they work just fine.Picture for reference and from what I have seen personally your better having the blow gun centered.

Pull the guide rod out the window or next best place and cut the sping a little shorter to make it fit over the end of the nipple.No mroe guide rod and no off centered blow guns :wink: .
