Well yes, I have charged my gun up to 30 bar, and it´s strong as hell :D with a 0.45g bb the range is more than 150m;
But if you have a low pressure big tank, I don´t know much about that, But with my tank, at 180 psi, after 20 shoots the pressure drops to about 140 psi.

Heres a link for what I am going to get for parts. Cheap airsoft guns, and tons of parts in them (barrels, triggers, bodys...) http://cgi.ebay.com/LOT-4-AIRSOFT-GUN-S ... 2c5cea0edc

Note, these are all springers.

And my experience with cheap airsoft guns is that somethimes you can not split the shell in two pieces. They are sometimes fused together. Good Luck

If I can't salvage anything, it wont be a big loss. As long as my brother is willing to pay, he will be getting an airsoft gun.

That works, hopefully you can salvage the shell, as IMO thats the most valueable part, as you can buy springs easily. But I would still. take the springs and barrel if its decent. On one of the pistols I was working on, it had like a 8mm barrel for a 6mm round.
That is all.

An 8mm barrel? wtf? Well, I decided to scrap the project. I am going for a 400 fps M14, with extended ris and a red dot scope. Sounds alot better. And worth it for only $40. I might get it instead.

Sounds good, where are you getting it from? It sounds good if it works. Is it a springer?

That sounds good, I have a 30 buck walmart famas that actually works good, It shoots about 380 FPS. The 8mm barrel was on a pistol that actually worked pretty well, it justed wasnt super accurate.
That is all.

Yeah, I got a 25 dollar walmart shotgun from a friend who had a friend leave the gun at a war and does not want it back. Its about 400 fps, pump action, pistol grip, and has detachable rails. Not bad, for a freebie! ;) I also have a crosman stinger P9 pistol, springer. 300 fps I think. Not sure.

Haha. This project? Go for it. Don't forget the copper T that is upside down, and the spring loaded bb tube for the magazine.

Have fun! All I can say.

Edit, I got a 27" 1/4" rigid copper tube, so the project is back in motion. Turns out my parents wont let me get the airsoft gun, so this is what I am going to make. Going to get the valve hopefully on saturday, and then I will see about the copper T, and the magazine. Gotta figure out the trigger though.
