Would people buy valves
The grooves I have now aren't perfect; one is too deep and air gets past. I don't have a Dremel either, so I made a line with a hacksaw but the o-rings wouldn't fit into the pipe, so I used a drill to widen and deepen the grooves. Ooooh, now everyone wants one don't they.
I really hate to break it to you, but you really should not sell these, clearly they are not being made to a marketable standard... Get the right tools for the job, than give it another try. Im not trying to be an ass, but you really should save your time and money.

Milhrad, i am PRETTY sure that he is being sarcasticnoname wrote:Ooooh, now everyone wants one don't they.
noname, it IS very tough to make valves and sell them to the "masses". Not only do they need to perform great, they need to look great and be very reliable, not to mention safe. I would love to sell valves and make some cash, but I am way to worried that my product would break/malfunction in the possession of a customer. In a worst case scenario, the valve could blow, causing injury/death to the consumer, bringing serious legal issues into YOUR life. On another note, making many chamber sealing valves to a high standard without the aid of a lathe is very close to impossible; you just can't get close enough tolerances.
Why don't you try simple barrel sealing valves? Your last barrel sealing valve had too many turns, which reduced flow. Just make a regular ol' barrel sealer, with one 90 degree turn. These do not require machining, and get better performance than chamber sealing valves anyway.
Please dont act like you still intend to sell these after I clearly showed you the tolerances and such...
rmich732, I highly doubt someone would die from a T piston failure, but its all plausible in theory since you cant define the realm of "chance".
Its plain fricken' simple! Most in this hobby buy something that they cant construct. Something that takes precise tools is one of them. No one wants some hack-sawed irregular valve. Go ahead and try, but you will fall on your face. Any frusterations we have delt simply after you fail to hinder our warnings that it will not flat out sell. Heck were spudders, were telling you we wouldnt buy it, so who is going to buy it? Some random Joe on the net that stumbles over this site? Good luck with that business.
