Can't you use a simple momentary switch ??

It's not that you have a loading mechanism for a semiauto... not to mention fullauto gun

I may get a crappy semi with a momentary switch :roll: but my goal it´s much bigger. I haven´t bought the 12v battery yet, I´m going to look for a battery+balance charger tomorrow after school :)

cant you use a potentiometer and a pulse circuit so the lowest setting on the pot gives semi auto and when you turn it, it gives full auto

hmm but do you have a loading mech for and and if you do.. does it work ?
you can worry about electronics later first you've got to get it to work right with a momentary switch

well in theory he could...
right now it doesn't really work like a hammer valve... the valve opens when the solenoid is energized and stays open as long as the button is pressed

that isn't very efficient - so it would be a good idea to use one 555 timer in monostable mode (press the trigger and the solenoid is energized, opens the valve, stays open for X miliseconds then closes)

then another one for full auto (where the other 555timer is in astable mode and its output triggers the first one)

All in all I think you'd be better off if you buy one of those cheap 3 way 1/4" solenoid valves and air cylinder (or built your own)... You could build a simple 3 way + air cylinder combo but the 3 way valve would be the main valve too

I already have the solenoid, I'm not going to change the hammer system. If you had watched the first diagram I posted, this valve includes reload mechanism, when opened, it pushs a bb :roll: that's why I liked this particular valve for a full auto despite of the relative low air flow.

If you use a simple monostable circuit for semi-auto then the solenoid would just stay energized until you release the trigger... you could maybe incorporate a logic chip too stop this but i haven't played with those very much so you might need a member more experienced in electronics to help you on that. good luck on the project man :)

lol you do like a lot 3-ways and cylinders
I´m going to give up the burst fire option, not very useful and too much work. I also bought a switch, when the bottom is in middle, it´s off, push it up or down will open 2 separated circuits, one for full auto, one for semi, hopefully :) .
In principal a video in the end of this month.

here is a circuit designed for semi/full/single shot and adjustable 3shot burst with wiring diagram and is designed to open and close a solenoid ;D

I have a preliminary schematic done.
Just have to double check and run a simulation. It uses 2 555 timers.

It has a true single shot mode and full auto mode.
The true single shot means if you hold the trigger, it will only fire once.
If you hold the trigger in Auto mode, it will fire continously based on the fire rate control.
You can adjust the pulse width rate for the solenoid so it will be the same for auto or a single shot. The auto mode can also be controlled for rate of fire.

Fire Rate: 2 to 10 times per second
Pulse Width: 53 mS to 295 mS

I bought them from ebay, but I also could buy normal electronic parts form a local store.

The true single option sounds like a semi, or after I pull the trigger, it shots once and I will have to open a switch to able to fire it again?

i too agree that language is FUBAR but i think dewey-1 schematic is easier

Try this one. Much nicer to use.

The circuit that I have done has much better control and a true single shot compared to the other one.

The single shot mode requires that you release the trigger to fire again.
