I will try to make a mold of a spoiler delrin that thou hast made.
I can then pour it hot glue for example

Shakespeare translator again :D

Hot glue will not be strong enough... maybe a brass mould for lead, along the lines of this one but for a dart shape?

replace the delrin glue on a concrete example nail dart

or a mold with the shape of your APFSDS where I can put a tungsten rod ...

Epoxy resin would be a better idea :) if you have access to some I can quite easily mill a fin mould that will fit a nail or the tungsten.

Excellent :) I'll see what I can cook up. Remind the exact diameters of your nails? (both smooth part and ridged part)

Also do you have access to 12mm rod to cut pusher plates out of, or do you need moulds for these as well?

For the pusher plate I can use plastic rods or rubber roller for valves.
it is certain that mold would be more accurate

dimensions of nails:
Smooth diameter: 3.4mm
Striated diameter: 3.5mm

Hmmm, for synthetics I could actually make the mould out of delrin. I might give it a go today if I get home at a reasonable hour.

Damn, pure tungsten is *really* brittle - this happened when I dropped it on the floor!

Interesting! So you've added a copper sheath for the tungsten? That first one, what is it exactly?

I made a brass dart for the broken half of the tungsten, at 17x it made a brass lined hole exactly half way through the plate, 1/8".
