ABS piston

i saw the how to for the three inch piston and i was wondering if i can use black ABS drain pipe for the 3 inch outter piece. i don't want to spend $30 on 20 feet of 3 inch pipe when i can buy 1 foot of abs

Home Depot cuts PVC for you and they have this big box full of scrap PVC for like $0.50 a foot.

Ya try out what Atlantis suggested, because when you use ABS in a pneumatic there is a chance of failure, greater then that of PVC.

the home depot by my house only has pvc to 2 inch and they dont cut
