sprinkler valve problem

k so i had my doubts about my valve working, and i was correct. i put a ping pong ball in my barrel, filled the chamber with air, and instead of the valve holding the air, the ball slowly rolled out lol. Sooooo for whatever reason my sprinkler valve is allowing all the air to pass through it

any suggestions

Mabey it is just defective go and buy another one for 10 bucks and make sure you do any modding to it properly as to not devalop a leak in the top of the valve which would constantly pilot it causing it to leak slightly.
