I built a barrel a few days ago for my pneumatic which is designed to shoot water. Its a 1.5"x2' barrel with 2" female threads to match my gun. Just behind the reducer is a 2" T. On the non barrel axis of the T is a reducer that attaches to a garden hose adapter. I attach my gun to my compressor and the barrel to my hose, sit in a chair in my front yard while my daughter and all the neighbor kids run around and wait to get shot, yes I said it,
I SHOOT CHILDREN... with water, lots of water... a 20psi shot shoots a 8' wide spray about 30', while a 40psi shot increases those numbers proportionally... have not tried anything higher than 40psi, but dont need to, my yard is only so big... my little compressor takes about 5 seconds to fill to 20psi, and the barrel fills about 2/3 of the way up, its great...

sounds cool.

i may try to make a SIMPLE high mix hybrid to shoot small amounts of water over a little distance in water fights.

Maybe it's just me, but the idea of shooting water out of a hybrid at people seems a little 1) impractical..and 2) dumb...but maybe it's just me...

... still doesnt sound practical... plus mine can be shot every 5 to 10 seconds effectively... plus it shoots water, not steam/water mixed with super hot gases... Im gonna build a high powered water gun soon, using a hand bike pump which are sold at walmart, mounted on a small air tank, and a large water cylinder with a small opening, just a ball valve and a T with a clean out plug to fill the water cylinder with... ill stop describing in and just post it when finished...

You could also step up the barrel to 3" for more volume, that way it can be shorter.
On the muzzle end, reduce it to 1" or so so youv've got a nozzle.
Just an idea.
Till the day I'm dieing, I'll keep them spuddies flying, 'cause I can!

not a bad idea, but rather than 3" to 1" reduction, I used 2" to 3/4"... It works great, but im gonna build a smaller chamber for my pneumatic that my current sprinkler valve will thread into... a chamber with a more efficent C:B, with my 2gallon compressor charged to 100psi I get 10-15 30' shots til the pressure has to recharge... oh and its semi automatic, just gotta wait a few seconds for the barrel reserve chamber to fill up... heres what my current set up looks like... the new chamber will be built in a week or two when my stimulus check comes in... the piece in the T is a 2"/3/4" threaded reducer which a garden hose screws directly into

gonna make the new one with a quick connect for ease of use... since I have to hold the connection together to fill the gun... but this does work great
