If you took a 3-way ball valve, plugged one side part of the tee in the ball itself, and motorized it, it could be added to a standard QEV to vent the pilot at a certain time. Every full turn the ball valve makes it will vent the chamber, when it turns to closed the chamber will be sealed and fill up again. The faster you spin the less time pressure has to build up, but since you can control motor speed, you can adjust the speed to your compressor or prefered rate of fire.
