QEV's... How do they work?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

I like to know how things work too. That's why I research instead of asking people who have better things to do then answer such an easily researchable question.

QEV's are either piston valves or diaphragm valves. Both work on exactly the same principle. So when you ask how you can apply this to a piston valve I wonder if you have any idea what you actually are doing.

One way you could apply it to a piston valve, is to pilot the piston valve. But you probably don't know what that is either since you haven't been doing nearly enough research.
