This is my copper gun it can operate anywhere from 50psi to 400psi. It has a friction locking breech, a stock made from steel fittings, a ballvalve modded for safety (handle taken off) and a modded blowgun pilot. The barrel is 2' of 1/2'' type m copper The chamber is 11'' of 3/4'' type m copper. Valve: obviouse. Anything that isn't obviouse ask

Looks good. Many guns made these days have got bolt loaders.
Any inside pics of your obvious valve?
Your friction locking barrel scares me a little. You mean you simply shove it backwards with a lot of force and it is secured? Friction affected parts wear down, and one day, your barrel may go flying. Use caution.
Did you shoot it yet?
Any damage pics?
Till the day I'm dieing, I'll keep them spuddies flying, 'cause I can!
Well actually the barrel doesn't need to be held very tightly with light projectiles the barrel doesn't even move even with heavy projectiles the barrel doesn't move. And everything on the breech is pretty smooth so it probably won't wear. BTW if the barrel does come unsecured it won't come out of the cpvc because the barrel wouldn't accelerate at all and the air would come out of the top.

dammage videos to come.
Nice looking gun Sticky. I like your sawn off blowgun and general overall balance of design. I too am a little worried about your "friction fit" barrel. I think you would do well to build out a standard locking bolt on there. Wouldn't take that much effort really.
When I pilot the gun my digits are well clear of the exaust And about the locking breach I don't think it is nessasary and even though, there isn't enough room between the 1/2'' and 3/4'' pipes, any ideas are welcome. Thanks for the comments.

that looks sweet, but seriously man, put a legit bolt handle on that, would look AWESOME, and be a little safer, I don't want to see you harpooning the next bucket...
I love copper guns, so nice, can't wait to get started on another coax gun, since my last one was a dud, still need to try putting a bolt through the piston and modding the blowgun, because I think the sealing face is ballooning and gripping the barrel, and the valve is not letting air out fast enough. if that doesn't work, I might have to kill myself.
Anyone have a link to a blowgun modding tutorial anywhere?
I used a wax/bb foster slug my own design it gets really good dammage. Well today I decided to open up the gun to check on the piston. I am going to my bungalow I think this weekend so I needed to make sure everything is in shape. The sealing face had a few slices in it from the barrel so I tryed to unscrew the 1/4'' bolt to replace the face. I never really tapped the hole I just sorta epoxied the bolt in. Well didn't work out too well the piston split in two strait down the middle New piston is being cast now. I did this shot with a lead slug
Uumm Sticky, did I just see you shoot and break a clear glass jar in the dead of winter, outside into the knee deep snow and ice?... Apparently in a high traffic area?...
Please put your thinking cap on the next time you go outside to shoot....
OK nuff of that. I still love the gun, just to get that bolt installed.
I picked up all the big stuff and it is ice but I do get where you are coming from. I still don't know how to get the bolt on there but I think I will be finishing the piston first
Well, you fill the gun through the quick connect on the bottom of the stock and there is a bv close to the 1/4'' tee where once you reach the pressure needed, you close the bv and disconnect, the pressure in the stock is relieved and the gun is charged. It is just like a regular quick connect ballvalve fill setup but with the quick connect farther away from the ballvalve on the end of the stock.
my buddies and i have been shooting the liquid from inside glow sticks for a long time. it looks awesome at night to see a glowing potato go...

Update
I am starting to think the glow juice may have been damaging after all. I hadnt used my gun in a while and i found that the threaded coupling...
So, i finally got around to making myself a decent powered gun. You can se most of the details on the pictures, but if there is anything you want to...
