Needs around 90 psi in from a shop compressor. Not sure on the kind of fittings, perhaps hydraulic QD.

Any estimates on price? It would sure as hell power one monster of a gun.

Yes. It's to pump in a similar way to a hydraulic jack, instead using air rather than an oil. I don't know why exactly, but that's some insane pressure for smaller guns.

id start to shit myself once i reached 1000psi

Not unfeasible, you just have to start thinking custom machined and hydraulic fittings. Of course you don't have to use the *full* extent of it's pressure capabilities.

Any ideas on how much it would run?

It holds 600cc of hydraulic fluid and the purpose of the pumping of air is to generate pressure for it.

Possibly, by molesting it you could get the air out instead but it's 10,000psi hydraulic pressure which may not necessarily be what the pneumatic pressure is.

I was wondering why it mentioned 600cc. I guess there's no point in butchering it then, seen as PCP rifle pumps are available for moderate prices and easily pump to mid 3000 psi, which is moar than enough for many spudders.

Very true - 10,000 psi is in the realm of pistol or shotgun cartridges, if you need that sort of power it's much easier to burn powder or build a hybrid.

Adding to that, powder is considerably cheaper. Home-manufactured NC or BP is pretty much cheaper for similar power from a hybrid. (accounting for costs of propane cylinder and scuba tank).

Thick wall and made out of decent steel (as opposed to the cheap crap that most pipe is made from). Other than that, it's not hard to do. We've got rocket motor cases that are good to 30,000 psi. We don't TRY to run them that high, but sometimes shite happens.

hydraulic stuff isn't really that expensive (though no one really uses it here) but it would be pretty tough to build a piston that can withstand that kind of stress and forces without machining...
