Just a point about projectiles without gyroscopic/drag stabilisation, they start to tumble almost immediately after leaving the muzzle. Not a groundbreaking revelation, I'll grant you, but seeing it in slow motion does hammer the point home

I've downloaded rocksim again.. not that I am interested in rocketery but I am curious if it's stability and cd predictions are right

thx, rocksim can use barrowman stability equations
I am really interested if it's cd predictions are accurate... it's not that hard to design a drag stabilised rocket with a cd value of 0.2 or less so that could be used to design long range projectiles for spudguns
