Rifling will improve your accuracy, but not the power/distance your cannon produces.
I remember a test someone did, comparing a rifled to and unrifled barrel, I don't know where the results are located but the rifling gave a pretty noticeable decrease in group size.
Yeah, it's still a potato and it's not going the shave the fleas off a dog's back at 400 yards, but if you're target shooting it may be worth it.

Depending on your ammo rifling may well increase the distance and the power at distance at some small expense in the power at the muzzle. A "bullet" shaped round will fly farther from a rifled barrel.Fnord wrote:Rifling will improve your accuracy, but not the power/distance your cannon produces.
