What qev should I get? And a two other questions

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Ok so I want to get a qev for my next project . I want to make changeable bfb barrels so I'm can shoot different kinds of ammo, should I get a 1/4 in , a 3/4 in or a 1/2in , I can use fittings to size down or size up the changeable barrels to fit but I also want a good amount of power and decent efficiency as in 5-10 357 pellets being shot no less than 600 fps from a 12 gram I know I can probably use ggd but I mainly want to know which one of the qevs will give the best efficientcy and power that I want?

My idea for my air source is to use a 1/4 in threaded coupling (I think it's called that ) and screw that into the back of the slide valve or onto depending what kind I get and then screw an Asa onto the other end and screw on a 12 Gram quick changer or a paintball tank will this work?

Can I run my air tanks and co2 unregged? Basically I want to know if I can screw a 12 gram onto the Asa and not need a regulator for an air source alternative to the 12 gram I would use a 13/3000 or a 20co2 tank would the qev not be able to handle the pressure ? Or slide valve?

Buy a European 3/4" QEV for multiple uses. I used one with a 2" barrel and it worked extremely well, and then scaled it down to a 1/8" barrel and it worked decently, not the best, but decent enough for me.

Plus, with a Euro qev, I know for a fact you can run unregged co2 into it.

Unless your behind kevlar and have a death wish i wouldn't suggest putting unregged co2 or HPA into a qev, if you want to use them kinds of pressures i would suggest a custom piston valve made from stainless steel and a piston made from Acetal. otherwise stick to 500 - 800 psi

what are you going to shot? 3/4" is too big for rather BB/paintball/pellet.
If you are going to use unregulated co2, a 1/4" will work fine with paintball/BB/.144 or .22pellet.
1/2" will work to, and allows you some space for larger bore. But for a pellet gun, using a 1/2" for me is a overkill
3/4" QEV are for cannons, if you barrel isn´t a large bore, the flow will get restricted a lot also you wast more air by releasing more air/co2 than needed and from piloting it.

Goats, a qev can handle unregged co2... Ask just about anyone on here who has done it *cough* btb *cough*.

Beast, the second QEV you linked to would work perfectly.

Well idk if I can post a pic but it's a stainless steel one I got off of an air compressor if you look at the back there's a nut to the left there's a threaded piece sticking out same on top it looks like 3/4 in on top 1/2 in in front and 1/4 on the left if that's a good enough description
It looks just like this but there's a threaded nipple on the left side
