Coaxial question

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Hey guys, I think I already know the answer to this question, but would a pvc barrel inside of a copper chamber be subjected to the same danger of rupture, or in this case I guess it would be implosion, as a pvc chamber? This is for a coaxial launcher. TY
