Hi guys. I put the bigger coaxial project on hold but meanwhile I have built a smaller 1/2" barrel 1" chamber version. The total length is 27" and the barrel length is about 19". The pilot valve is a 3/4" ball valve. The gun is pressurized by a 1/4" npt tank valve threaded into a 2"// 3/4" pipe nipple. The back threads off, allowing servicing on the piston, which is made of proto putty ( silicone mixed with food colouring to make it set way faster) molded in a 3/4" long piece of 1" cpvc ( the same stuff as was used on the chamber). It's operating pressure is usually around 100-110 psi (which is fine because I used the right materials and cements). I will later be building a better one for a tutorial on my YouTube channel. Thoughts?
