New toolbar sucks

Anyone have google toolbar? I downloaded when they had version 3 which kicked ass.

Well a few months ago they came out with version 4 which sucks ass. it has all the bullshit features and fancy crap that just pisses me off. Kinda hard to explain how gay it is unless you've used it.

I have repeatedly redownloaded the old version from filehippo and now it updates every time I log on to the internet. those bastards really don't want me to have the old one.

Anyone else agree?

I have the new one. It does sem to have a lot of features that aren't needed. I don't like the search spot because now to view your history you have to go to the bottom and click and then find it. It was so much easier when u just clicked the arrow and scrolled through them.

I love the version I have, it simply has the search bar, pop up blocker and spellchecker built in, everything I will ever need. If I'm looking for a word in a forum I just type it in the box and click highlight. I don't actually use it for searching though, more of an editor.

To many toolbars slow down the browser to much, my favorite is my ebay toolbar! I don't googlee eqnough to get it from them. You should be able to stop the auto update in your googlee account settings.
