stungun question

i'm about to hook up my stungun and i was wondering if the spark will jump through the wires if they get too close. is there a certain kind of wire to use?

high voltage, get an old tv and take the flyback wire out of it BUT BE CAREFUl, thoughs tv's have capasitores and they store energy, when i was cuttin out wires a got zapped, hurt like a mother

is it inside the tv or the power cable?

what about just buying some heavy gauge wire instead of having to find an old tv?
