Catalog page 941, they are in the second-to-bottom listing. If I were you, I'd just buy one off of eBay because they are almost always cheaper, but you will probably have to look harder... May I ask what your planning on building?

well I'd rather get a brand new one from mcmaster plus i might be ordering some other stuff. Well I'm not exactly sure what im gonna build. I was thinking about making a bb rifle that actually looks like a rifle. I want to somehow hide the qev and chamber in the stock. I don't know how I would cover the qev up since its pretty big.
Edit actually I think I have an idea. Look on mcmaster page 941 item # 6646K31. Its the Inline quick exhaust valve. Would this work just like a regular qev just its not on a right angle? Its much smaller.

If you are planning on a small bore gun, go with a 1/4" QEV. I just got a brand new one from eBay for like $10 including shipping. Also, its only about 1" wide, so that solves your size problem. FYI, almost ALL the ones off of eBay are new... I can give you some links if you are interested, that way you don't have to search for it.

Dont get it off McMaster, get it from one of the distributors listed here: http://www.mead-usa.com/distribution/index.aspx
There are about 6+ distributors in every state, some sell to individuals, some dont. Mead Fluid Dynamics manufactures the most popular QEV --- link: http://www.mead-usa.com/products/detail.aspx?id=46

I was thinking of something like this.....

Looks a little distorted so just click on it
o and now that this is more about bb guns someone can move this to bb gun section if they want.
