I'm imagining that the stiff rod pushes the golf-ball from go to whoa, ...but how about a heavy piston like a hammer-face on the rod that doesn't contact the golf ball until the last few inches of it's stroke so that the elasticity of the ball is utilised?

Does anyone know how to mod a blowgun to stop it leaking?
Yes, I searched and wiki'ed (...that took an extra hour mostly trapped in the humour section... :lol: ) but only found that others have had no probs up to 400psi!?!
My three all leak at +/-200psi
(Just had a lend of a 300psi shock pump! :P ...

I laugh, because: "I have just consumed an entire bottle of port" and "I have just consumed the entire harbour" are significantly different... I give respect for the fact that a new level of understanding for the acceleration of projectiles has been reached. 8) Word.
