Relax man, not everyone on this forum speaks english as their first language.
Anyway, they open pretty fast, maybe not quite as fast as a QEV but you would still get a lot of power with it, probably more than with a modded sprinkler valve.

The man makes a very good point.
It's fast enough for a casual plinker for "killing" a few tin cans, but it's not going to serve any cannon where power is of importance.
If it were me asking that question, the answer would be no, because I have no use for a cannon that doesn't use it's power as well as it can.
But certainly better than a plain ball valve.

On another note, I recognise we have people for whom English is not a first language on the forum, but that doesn't mean we should let errors just slide. A error in the wrong place could lead to a dangerous misunderstanding.
But, we should however be considerably more subtle than "Grammar police".

Although, one could argue the fact that NONE of these cannons serve anything actually important. But I'm just being obnoxious.

Maybe not, but if one is designing a cannon with intent of achieving the maximum attainable "power", a spring loaded ball valve should not be on the list of valves to consider.

True dat. Now, the question(s) is/are, what kinda gun are you planning to use this valve with, what pressures are you planning on using, and how powerful does it need to be?

Fish boy I'd stake some good money that a sprinkler opens faster than this...
My first cannon had 3 leaks, Unrated PVC, about a 4 to one C:B ratio and a slow PLASTIC ball valve, and it was fun as hell and was a good start. So jsut try to build upon this later on.

will it is a small bore gun 8mm .lets say is not a canon
and the pressure is 700 psi and i think about 1500 psi

Well I could probably have a ball valve do that over a period of several hours. But I take it you are looking for something a little bir faster...
If you want to know if a spring loaded ball valve inproves performance, then I will tell you, it does. Is it better then a sprinkler valve or a QEV etc?
Well that depends entirely on the launcher.

Indeed. Since life is essentially futile and pointless, it can be argued that nothing we do serves any important purpose. It's down to the individual to assign meaning to his or her existence, and if ventilating furniture and domestic appliances is part of one's individual meaning, so be it
On a less philiosophical note, there are instances when spudguns can serve other purposes
