This is a design for a bolt-action, shell ejection nerf anti-tank rifle.
Basically, I want a homemade Barrett, and I'm using my airsoft hobby as justification.
The bolt face is based on boltsniper's FAR, the shells are 6" long,the dia of shells and barrel is 1.5". The bolt travels 8.5".
Ammo is Milsim Labs M-29 rounds, or potatoes shoved in the shells.
I had plans to use a coaxial valve, and I still might, but this design uses a sprinkler valve because I've found them to be super reliable. It will be setup for pneumatic operation, with a push button in the trigger location. I have an airsoft M107 I can pull the stock and trigger assembly from.
3d Printed parts will be used for more complex parts, like the bolt face. The center of the bolt is 1"sch40, the outside is 1.5" coupler, to fit over the 1.5" shell. The gap between the two, which houses the ejector, will be 3d printed.
The shells use off the shelf pipe so I don't have to fret about losing a few.
The receiver is 2.5", which is harder to find, but still affordable.
The tank will be welded steel for airsoft tech inspection.

Could you share the files? I designed my own combination powered launcher that will be intended into a 3D printed 50 cal, but turns out that combustion guns are much weaker than pneumatic guns, and there's the issue with getting multiple shots, (resolved technically but not aesthetically by: https://www.instructables.com/id/Versat ... _page=true)
And getting a good seal, etc. Id love to collaborate with you if you'd be open to sharing your schematics.

For anyone interested, I have been working on this project, but nothing besides mockup shells and bolt heads physically exist yet. I'm hoping to 3d print a scale prototype this weekend.
I think I'm going to move to a 3/4" QEV in an effort to keep more the receiver more intact and clean looking. My issue with my current design is the area after the valve - the pressurized air has to travel about 17" before it reaches the round. Thoughts?
Here's a new video showing the redesign and new issues. Other changes in V3.0 include a fixed (stationary) ejector and the shells have had the rim shortened. The huge bolt handle is just to make the scale model easier to operate.

Another video with the stock/grip installed, a better mag at more realistic angle (to help feeding). The bolt will have sections removed to fit between the feed lips.
