Does anyone know what max tested mix in a hybrid has been?
I've seen that people have done 4x mixes without ammo...but has anything higher been done?

I actaully saw this article when i was looking for for an answer earlier...
i know that is says
These guns can reach and exceed 300psi when firing
and
it should have held 350psi easily
but im just curious as to the highest mix that's been succesfully used, not the pressures that it should handle

I really have no idea what this was meant to say, and damnit...my "crappy typing to English" translator is busted.

anyone care to translate?

well you never know...Sch80 is pretty darn tough! But then again, looking at this table i just found

1/2 -509
3/4 -413
1 -378
1 1/4 -312
1 1/2 -282
2 -243
2 1/2 -255
3 -225

It looks like it would have to be a pretty small chamber to hold that much pressure, and then you have to take into consideration the burst disk that was used...would have had to been one hell of a tough disk...

anyways, feel free to clear up my doubts!
Better yet, lets get Spudinator to reply to this =)

oh and Iamthewalrus, thanks for the translation...even though that guy's response probably cost me 10 or 15 IQ points...

dont forget 4 inch pipe! 220 psiw, this table looks like its all for sch. 40 pipe too, take into consideration that the pipe is rated for water pressure not air, and that sch 80. holds more pressure

hmm i think thats wrong dude

check this out

http://www.agf.gov.bc.ca/resmgmt/publis ... 0240-1.pdf
http://www.csupomona.edu/~rkumar/lis231 ... sch40t.htm

research research research.... the ratings you posted are actually lower than sch 40 pipe

the smaller pipe has a higher pressure rating because the sidewalls are thicker in comparison to the inside diameter or the volume of the pipe

Ya i have some 1/2 sch 40 and its rated to 600, and I have 3" sch 40 and it's rated to 225 or close to that. Sch 80 has to be rated for more.
