I was wondering if there was any write ups for how to actually build a back pressure tank as seen here:
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/piston- ... t8157.html
The theory is much easier than the actual build.
Also, what would be the easiest type of semi automatic airgun to build?

I dont understand what you mean by back pressure tank? Do you mean a piston valve? As for easiest semi auto, Id say a QEV with a slide valve trigger hooked up to either regulated HPA or a compressor.

Hey, sorry. I'm a nerf modder so my terms are a bit different.
Yes I mean the piston valve. The kind where you have to exhaust a little air to release alot of air.
Also, could you provide a link to an example of a QEV with a slide trigger? I don't fully understand.

Clemsonguy is very correct, the easiest type of sem-auto is a QEV with a slide valve, or possibly a homemade springloaded piston valve, but that require more building.
Right here. Both the QEV and slide valve are purchased.

Hmm...I see, but that doesnt really explain how to connect everything. I can't seem to find a how-to on a QEV w/ slide valve blaster/gun/cannon/whatever you wanna call it.

There's no tutorial because all you do is buy the parts and thread them together lol

Hmmm...Well what does the term "piloted" mean?
In these posts they are saying the QEV is piloted by a slide valve, what exactly does that mean?

Piloted means the air behind the piston is released, the slide valve is the valve the pilots the piston valve

Pilot is just another word for trigger.

One such as this:

The second one looks right. Here is one:

Heck I might buy one of those anyway... 9 bucks, its pretty nice too.
