This can be blamed entirely on my Dad.For some reason he keeps putting the assembly pics/instructions off.I've just about lost my patients as well.I've done my part and he still won't load the stuff up to our website.I'm trying. And I am sorry. It shouldn't have taken this long.

The drawn out lines. The black is where the can will fit and the pink is on a ridge closest to the black line. You will punch your holes on the pink line

The process of punching the holes. The nail used needs to be sharpened.I used a flat Bastard file for this. The nail was then sharpened to a chisel point.

Use the filed nail and the needle nose pliers to punch a series of holes around the pink line. The holes should be close together so that the area in the middle can be taken out.

To smooth the inner edge out use the needle nose pliers round edge.St the can on your leg like in the picture and press down on the edge with pliers. At the same time roll the can.You will soon begin to see the edge folding down and smoothing out.Continue this process until you get close to the black line.

After rolling the edge of the tuna can it should now be smooth. The inner can should fit very tightly in this hole. The tighter the better for a seal.Check often to make sure the hole isn't too big.Continue until the can fits perfectly.

If need be trim the inner can down so that the top rim is sitting flush on the tuna can top and the bottom of the inner can is also flush on the bottom.

Take the inner can out and stuff the inside with the cotton.Put the can back in and push it down to the bottom. If any cotton sticks out into the middle while going down just use your finger to push it back into the inner space.

Finally punch the jet holes with the thumbtack(use the pliers to hammer if it to hard to press down) and you are finished<br />In the case that your stove does not seal around the inner wall(the tomato can).this will be noticed by a lack of pressurization on the side of the leak side and flames coming out of the leak instead of the jets.To fix this seal the leak off with JB weld or a similar high heat epoxy.

It is open(the tomato can was open,to make it a tube).I've found that the cutting of the can leaves enough inaccuracy for the alcohol to get through just fine.If you want to you can file in a few gaps so the alcohol can flow.It doesn't have to be much.

Where did you get the plans for the stove you made? The reason I ask is from the picture it looks as if it won't pressurize.

That's what I was thinking it was.Zen stoves has some pretty cool stuff.I just wish my stoves would stay all nice and shiny like in the pictures.

And those little stoves will heat up water fast.I always make it a given to bring along some mandarin orange tea on my camping trips. That and I make popcorn in my Swedish messkit. It makes the best popcorn I've ever tasted.
