just wondering what the most common adapter used is. cause i have one thats very slight and i saw one that was a huuugee change and i wasnt sure if it was to powerful and i didnt see anything inbetween. so whats the most common fitting?

I see mostly 4" to 2", 3" to 2", and 3" to 1.5" fittings.

Using a coupler and reducing bushing is the "right" way to do it, since 90% of reducer adapters aren't pressure rated.

I use a 4" to 2" on my over/under metered propane gun, and then a threaded 2" - 1.5" at the breech (for interchangeable barrels).

I also use 4 to 2 adapters for me cannons, they are most common in the harware stores, and they give you good results, distance wise, when use a 4 to 2 reducer bushing on a 4" chamber to a 2" barrel.
