Hi,
Can you really get a spark through that cable? I have always has only fizzles with normal mains cable. Especially when lying on the ground, and/or getting moist.
If it works, great, but otherwise I'd suggest some thick coaxial cable with a solid plastic dielectric. Sometimes the CATV electricians are lazy and just leave their cable scrap behind the distributor boxes etc. That's excellent cable. But even RG-58 cable is OK.

Soren

what you think?

SpudBlaster, why would this meter design mix the fuel better than the meter on my hybrid would? The schrader valve and gas input are in pretty much the same places as they are in your meter.
Spanerman, looks pretty good so far.

Your meter is huge. Putting in pressures below 10 psi or so is very annooying; you have to be extremely precise. Try to cut down a bunch on meter volume. My chamber is 787 mL, more than twice the size of yours, and your meter is about 3 times the size of mine. Mine's easy, just 20 psi for a normal combustion, 40 psi for 2x, 60 psi for 3x, 80 psi for 4x, and 100 psi for 5x.
I'll edit: My gun doesn't shoot as a normal combustion, it probaly has something to do with the air/fuel not being mixed well enough.
Also, use a small hand pump or something for this gun. A bike pump is too big and too inaccurate. Using a shock pump, it takes about 3 pumps for me to get my gun to 1 psi, so my added atmospheres of air are usually very accurate.
