Summary: I found a deal on hosting through site5, it requiring a 2 year contract. This totaling to around ~$120, quite a large sum of money. So I was wondering if anyone was interested splitting the hosting for there own intentions/ website.

My interests have largely shifted to machining, and CNC machining. For this I have started making a site on my computer, and even bought a domain. With the intent to some day host the site. So site5 seems to have a nice deal on hosting, called there $5 deal. In my estimations, a LOT more then I will need, or any reasonably sized website will need. So I am looking for someone else in effect to rent "half" of the mentioned hosting service.

Now understand I will reserve the right to do whatever I want, although most know I am quite the reasonable person. As it is I can only see myself intervening if you exceed any of your limits, or do something abusive with your end of the hosting service.

I am on the computer a fair amount, so I will be able to help you via AIM, MSNM, or email. I got moderate experience in flash (ActionScript), and HTML/CSS so I could help you out on that.

After talking to different members of the spud community over AIM, it seems there is quite a few of you interested in making sites. So I am thinking there are some of you out there currently that would like to do the same, and this may be the time to jump on.

Last of all the specs (mind you these will be halfed, these are on a monthly basis):
5TB Bandwidth
110GB Disk space
110 Domain Pointers

Please respond if you have real interest, or questions.

Thanks :thumbright:

Look for mini-hosting
http://livin4.com/mini.php

Should be about right for how much you'll likely actually need. I used to use these people til my old business shifted directions.

Thanks, but what I plan for this site, that won't be enough. Thanks again.
