Funnily enough though I don't think girls factor in as the major source of financial woes as far as this forum is concerned.

In the future, who knows... there's a particularly poignant quote I remember from this page on the box'o'truth:
My friend "Roy" came through town on his way home from a big machinegun shoot in Alabama. He invited us to shoot some of his guns.

Now, I love firearms, but have never owned a full-auto firearm.

Roy has a bunch, all completely legal. He dates the girls, but has never let one talk him onto marriage. As a result, he has money for his hobby.

As I told a guy that said, "Wow! What a great collection!"

"Yep, that's the wedding that he never had."

I'm in the process of rebuilding the engine on my truck. So far I've put $211.00 into 12 lifters and tomorrow I'm going to order two remanufactured heads for $510.00 (really good deal).

Just as I was in the process of starting my cannon the truck starts to sound like its gonna fly apart. So it may be a while before I'm back in action.

anyone having to pay for tires is there fault... ride a bike save the money...

but yea it is my fault and i wasn't complaining about it

heres the first set i had but when my car got ripped of they took the wheels and tires to.

Image

heres the ones i got after the first set got stolen

for those who might ask about the wheels an tires that got stolen:

a while back i took my car to get the transfer case rebuilt and i had to leave my car there for about a week (they had the entire drive train removed so i couldn't just drive it home) anyway the first night they had it it got broke into. whoever broke into it stole all four wheels and tires my head unit both my amps and my 2 Rockford t1 15's, they broke a window tore up my glove box looking for the key to the wheels locks and busted the center console. so it sucked. the insurance covered everything except the stereo system an i had to pay half the price of the new tires my deductible was 700 bucks. im not complaining nor am i some little rich kid i paid for it all myself.
and i did have the wheel key with me but somehow they still got the wheels and tires.
heres some pics. and if no one was gonna ask what happened then sorry for this pointless post. =P

the pic with the front hub missing the tire is just one of 4 but didnt feel the need to post fur pics of nearly the same thing.

Dude, trae, that sucks. I know how that feels. Got my car broken into a couple years back. I was out about 800 bucks. Filed a police report and everything but it didn't do any good. And to top it all off, my teacher still counted me as tardy, even though I was filing a police report. How gay is that?

i recently bought a kinda junky dirt bike, needed about $100 of work with a 200 cc engine, got it for $450. im going to liscence it, even though its not the most fuel efficent, it was wicked cheap and should get better gas mileage than my truck to be.
in the upcoming presidential election, there will be several candidates who will be running, one of whom is Hillary Clinton. Now WAIT A SECOND!!! I though there was some sort of rule that prevented someone from serving more than two terms in office. Vote Against Hillary: Presidential Elections 08

Trae, I remember this from a while back. Transfer case? You have a four-wheel drive suburban? How neat is that? Can't rightly tell from the pictures, but does it have the whole Z71 package or just 4-wheel drive?

My friend's got a '94 Chevy 1500 suburban that he doesn't drive anymore. That thing sucked on gas mileage. He paid around a little under 100$ a fill-up around every other week.

I would probably rejoice if somebody stole my stereo system. The guy who owned the truck before me installed all this crap that I can't even identify, (because I'm not into all that stuff). It screws with the rest of the electronics, (like the headlights sometimes), and it's not as reliable, as sometimes the left speakers will cut out. Only thing I was able to identify was a huge capacitor behind the driver's seat, because I traced the cable going to the negative battery lug. It's got two "tweeters", (as my friend called them), and some "Premier" stereo unit.

....How much you think I'll be able to sell it for? :P Probably just install a stock stereo, if I can find one.

That sucks sh1t. What type of lock did you use? I had this bike in 5th grade, but it wasn't that good. Some guy steels it, but eventually, he realizes he can't get any money for it, so he just puts it back where he found it.
850$ though? That really sucks. Rotting in hell does seem a little harsh, but getting a horrible disease or losing some very *ahem* sensitive parts of their body from a slow moving steam roller seems fair...

edit: an as if all that wasn't bad enough it all happened on may 3rd.. which is my b day or the night of may 2nd dont think they would broke into it during daytime.

Sounds like fun. :D
I really would though recommend getting a bike lock, or at least something that looks like one. As you can see, it sure can save a lot of money! Kryponite and Masterlock make some pretty good ones.
Best of wishes getting a new bike/finding the stolen bike/getting revenge!
