i started a thread a while ago about wanting a long range airsoft weapon, i had it narrowed down to a spring sniper and a sniper style AEG, in the end i went with the AEG. of course i bought $150 in upgrades while i was at it (metal bushings, tightbore, new piston, spring, ect) i have managed to install everything but the spring (no big deal i just buy another) it was a m120 made by echo and when fully compressed it is to big for the gun (which i found pathetic) anyway i was just posting this to show off my new favorite toy, can hit 200ft accurately with .2g high polished bbs. pics...

i have only one disappointment the scope mounting bracket cost like $50 for this particular gun, i had all ready bought a nice scope... o well guess ill just have to put it on something else

Very nice!

I used to have a Toyko Marui AK-47 until I grew out of airsoft. Gave it to my nephew with my cheap M4 and Mp5.

Is it a TM or some other brand? Do you have anyway to get an accurate FPS reading? Also If money isn't a problem I would try to upgrade the motor and battery too. :D I would like to see what it does to the bottom of a coke can at close range.

The only thing is if you play in tourney's your always gonna be on the Viet Cong/CCCP team. AK POWER!

its made by some generic Chinese clone brand (csi or something), i bought it knowing that i would pretty much replace all the internals. (gun was $100 upgrades $150 total $250 about as much as a TM cost but much better range and power)

working on a chrono (ir led kind) but school just started and lucky me in all honors classes gets a crap load of homework leaving me with little time to play around with stuff like this. all thats really left to do is built housing for the photo-transistors i wired it up already.

ill check to see what kind of damage it can do tomorrow ill put some pics up

working on an AK vortex (as my sig says) waiting on one piece a kid promised me an ak mag its literally the last piece its purely aesthetic but its vital to the "AK look" i traded him a homemade grenade launcher for a bunch of his old airsoft stuff (scopes barrels mags and he bough me the pieces for the launcher) he gave literally everything except the mag. but when thats finished it will be the craziest ak ever (yay insane fire rate of vortex guns)[/quote]
