That's pretty cool, but i'm sure nothing works as well as the bad guy seeing a little red dot appear on his nuts.

I'm assuming that it has tritium, since it has a hefty price (but for a few more dollars, a laser grip from crimsontrace can be placed on the handgun). As far as its use on potato cannons, that price is a little high.

It's Tru-Glo.
I'm sure something similar can be pulled off for a potato gun. Going to HD later... maybe I'll get some ideas.

Tru-Glo? That IS a high price for fiber optics (unless it is tru-glo with tritium in it. I believe they do produce it with some of their sights). Having tru-glo in mind, I bought a tru-glo fiber optic turkey sight for my 12g shotgun for around $15. Very good sight and it would work well for a cannon.
i dont know that something like this would work much better than any other sight s on a spudgun. it looks like these sights are meant for high stress situations. etc. self defense. where you would need to draw your gun and shoot 2-3 shots within a few seconds, not having time to align your notch and post sights.
in the upcoming presidential election, there will be several candidates who will be running, one of whom is Hillary Clinton. Now WAIT A SECOND!!! I though there was some sort of rule that prevented someone from serving more than two terms in office. Vote Against Hillary: Presidential Elections 08

That's a pretty neat idea. If I had something that shot straight enough, I wouldn't mind a set. Or maybe I'd just be really cheap and make a set instead.
It wouldn't be a particularly hard design to copy for your personal use. Sure, if you tried selling them, you'd be pinned to the wall by lawsuits, but for a one (or two) off, I'm sure someone with decent DIY skills and some glo paint could do fine.

...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

It's dam near impossible to get a accurit aim in any quick draw situation! Try it before you argue that point with me. Thats a great sight for target shooting, but thats about it, honestly.

I wonder how many times it will take for that slide to slam shut before the sights get jared out of aim/calibration?jackssmirkingrevenge wrote:Not as good as these tho
Sorry about the negitivity, but to me it's like fishing lures, designed to catch the fishermen, not the fish.

@jddrw: It might not work as well for a quick draw situation, but if I was in a firefight, a set of those certainly wouldn't go amiss.
