Here's a good one... Last year, there was a kid who hung out with me and my friends, and we all hated him, but didn't tell him off. (He is hereafter referred to as "Flaming Douche Bag", or FDB) Anyway, FDB got caught with marijuana, and got taken to the office. In short, he blamed it on everyone but himself. And, in hick town high school tradition, they believed him. Needless to say, we were pissed. (None of us smoke marijuana.) Many of my friends, (But not me!) were hauled off to the office, and, as if the conclusion was forgone, the vice principal essentially said "Why'd you do it, F***tard? Most of my friends explained themselves, but the school still wanted to search them. One of my friends basically told him to F*** himself! FDB basically burnt every bridge he had ever built, and he still got in trouble in the end anyway! Needless to say, I have little faith left in the school system. :D
Yeah, we wouldn't want to anger the bees, now would we??

My school is like this and I have found the answer is just sports. If you make every varsity team except baseball as a starter freshman year everything is completely fine. I already get good grades but they let you get away with murder. almost.

thats how it is at mine. if you join football, suddenly everyone likes you.

All these stories make me glad i live in the Uk, i go to a school with 920 kids and everyone knows and likes everyone, sometimes its a bit creepy how everyone is so nice. That doesn't mean that bad crap doesn't happen, its just aimed at the a$$hole teachers instead, and theres only like 3 of them.
Although....recently Mr Carey (head of maths) was suspended for 'family problems', we later found out he was banging a 6th former, he's married with little ones!
Im guessing that he wont be showing his face in any school in our area anytime soon.

My school is pretty small, and there are no sports, because it is a college prep school. Which kinda sucks, but our teams would be terrible anyways. So, the one good side to that is the fact that there isn't any macho jocks, and you don't have to do anything like that to be accepted somewhat. But really, our teachers are really sharp, and our tech guy was really sharp last year, he went to University of Washington (go figure), and he caught pretty much everyone, with evidence and everything. And when he's monitering people, well, your screwed if you try anything. Lots of stuff that normally goes unnoticed at a school is noticed at mine. But, then again, there are geeks and stuff there, and none of them seem to know anything about spudguns :(. (On rare occasion I find myself talking to them) If a somebody is considered a geek at my school, they REALLY are an insane geek. Like, a comp program coder or something. Yes, there really are a few at my school! Although despite all of this, I almost punched a kid in the face because he pissed me off so much. He is this wussy kid, who always sticks his chest out (complete with manboobs) and pretends he is tough, and can beat me up. Although he is a grade higher than me, there is NO way he could do it. He would fall like a sack of potatoes, I am sure of it. LOL, my dad actually mistook him for a girl!!!! LOL!!! Sometimes I really wish I could plant a heavy kick in his big gut!

"talk it out with the person who is doing it",
People used to tell me to do that, till they realized blood from the person I was "talking" to would always be on the floor in the end.
Sucks you're automaticaly assumed guilty for pyro stuff.

One of my friends at my school now used to go to one as well.
Apparently they sang really F***ed up songs. Here is an example:

Red is the colour of happyness,
Blue is the colour for Jesus,
Yellow is the Colour for Fun, Funny, Fun,
Fun in the Heavens and the Earth!!!!!!! (Insert childish Laughter).

Like the whole school had to sing that even when they were like 13 and stuff.

Sad shit.

(I'm not paying out Catholics).
Poo.

Aren't you the lucky one

Our school has just newly installed 60 cameras, i wouldn't be suprised if they put up pinhole cameras in the toilets for their own perverted viewing pleasure, the male teachers at our school are like that.....Very creepy indeed.

Our school is huge on rowing, if you(your parents) donate money to it for a better education it'll go to rowing, so we don't have Jocks, we have Rowers. We just laugh when they have to get up at 5:30am most mornings and run all day after school  and waste their weekends out at training facilities 1hour away for the whole day.

Our school wasn't too bad (I'm done with school now).
We had a couple gun/bomb threats, but nothing ever happened. Fights happen occasionally, but usually it's just between the trashy ghetto kids.

Also, people randomly steal hardware from the computers. I turned one on once and was a bit mad to find(on closer inspection) the ram had suddenly vanished.
