truck mounted combustion launcher idea

so me n my friend got bored in school today, and thought about making a spudgun that we can mount on a piviot in the back of one of our trucks, the barrel will be the part mounted, with a screw off chamber, so we can have multi chambers being preped by people sitting in the bed (letting us shoot of a lot of rounds quickly). we were wondering about loading, we could have someone just for packing and loading. we want to piviot it by handles (attached to the same mount as the barrel) that will have a remote firing button, so we will run wire from the ignition button, to a battery operated ignition souce, then have the electric current run to a (+) and (-) sheet metal, and our chambers will have 2 peices of sheet metal (or some kind of metal source) corresponding to the ignition, and have the current run down to the electrodes, and will be sealed, only entrace will be the front, where the we will have a screw on attachment, where we will also clear, and add propelent. we were wondering if it would produce enough spark after going through all that wiring, and transfering (its a lot of resistance)

yeah i did all them in bout 10 mins so they are not perfect, feel free to ask questions bout the blue-print

or, another desing, a much simpler desin for the chamber is to instead of having detachabe ones, just mount like 3-4 nice size chambers, and have each one attached to a barrel, have the endcap unscrew to add propelent, and it will be easier to load it from the back, possibly make the barrel metal, and have a hinged door a breached loader. with this set up, we will have the ignition be a coleman laturen flick flint lighter dili-who.

I think that if you put a compresor and a very big pneumaic instaed it will be more destructive. => more like a tank.

Many have talked about construting launchers on a stand that allows the gun to swivel in all directions. To my knowledge no one has.

Screw on chambers= Dumb/ Worthless/ and Slow loading.

If your going for fast loading, muzzle loading obvioulsy wont cut it. Ive designed my own breach loader, but there is tons of dif designs out there. EX: Sliding coupling, Slip Joint, Barrel roataing inside a casing (when hole in casing and barrel line up, projectile is allowed to pass through).

I must ask, why combustion? Pneumatic would be so much easier to work with, plus more powerful. Get a big bottle of CO2 and a reg, or as Rambo said, get a big tank in which compressed air will be stored. If your really going to go all out on this thing, you could simply get a few DC air compressors and hook them up to the tank and run of battery.

yea it was an idea we had while bored, but if we do get started it will be a breach loader, we dont know much about Pneumatic guns, and was possibly thinking of some type of metal barrel, with a door w/ locking latch, but like pimpmann22 said, theres lots of different designs. looking for a light metal for barrel any suggestions? (gotta be kinda cheap) maybe next weekend me n some friends will go experiament w/ Pneumatic.
