I am about to begin construction on a pneumatic paintball shotgun. It will be shell loading, magazine fed rifle. It will also be pump action (pumping will eject spent shell and insert fresh shell).

This is the design I have so far. Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

Will it be able to do multiple shots? Quick loading saves no time on having to repump the whole cannon.

It is magazine fed and the mag I have designed will hold five shells. It will be hooked up to regulated CO2 so I will not have to refill the chamber each time.

I chose pump action because of the phsycological effect a shotgun has (I am going to put some type of noise maker on it to make it sound real when pumped).

interesting. just how exactly is the pump action supposed to work?

OAN: it looks like my granddaughters gerbil cage, it just needs some color. :wav:

I am in the process of making the scaled drawing for this (blueprints) but I've ran into a problem. I want the barrel to be 3/4" CPVC and the remainder will be sch 40 PVC. I need some type of way to fix the cpvc to the pvc, preferably without threads.

Pleas note, however, that this is just a rough draft of the general idea of what the launcher will look like. The final version will have a little more pieces, such as a receiver cover, to keep everything internal.
