Hey guys I am almost done my chainsaw bike and I just went to get the sprocket welded onto the outer clutch assembly and I just found out that they couldn't weld it cause the guy said it was hardened steel and it would break off. I have been looking every where and they said that they don't have non hardened steel sprockets because they will wear down too quick. Does anyone know where I could find one? I need it to be relatively small because it's for the drive gear probably under 15teeth. Or if anyone happens to have one I would buy it off them.

Find a different welder if you are close to Eagle River, Alaska I would be more than happy to weld it for you.

Yeah Pete Zaria just told me that they should be able to do it by if they heat it up before or I could just temper it. Locksmith I may just ship it to you if you will do it and if I can't get it done here. I'm in pennsylvania
