I was looking on youtube for any idea´s for a next spudgun, I found a video. It was a gun that looks like a AK-74 but use´s single shot combustion power

. As combustion chamber they used a coke bottle. This will be my next project, only I wanna use the combustion chamber/coke bottle as stock. The reloading will be bolt action the only thing now is that I am working with cartridges(16MM CPVC), the cartridge holds the ammo in it but when I fired the gun I think the empty cartridge wont come out easily

, so dus somewhone or anywhone now how to eject a cartridge. And are there any idea´s for a semi-automatic desgin without a shell/cartridge with a mixture.

yu could have a gas pipe that comes off the barrel into the back of the chamber to 'blow' it out? they use this in assult rifles, i am tryin something simular

i doubt the blast from a combustion wont have enough power to blow that kind of setup back.....

It won't work - firearms typically generate over 30,000 psi to be able to cycle the action, you can't use the same system using the 30-odd psi combustions generate.

u could do, yes they do use 30,000 psi but thats a firearm, this is a spud gun, springs ect wouldn't need to be a poswerful i think it would work

I'm pretty sure it won't work at combustion pressures with a gas tube, your best bet is to have a direct blowback system, and unless you have a system for venting the chamber, reinjecting fuel and reloading the ammo you have to use preloaded cartridges.

yes pretty much, you could vent the chamber with a fan and i know it perimative but insead or preloaded cartages just have an amo loading system, and use a air freasher that works off a button but have a differnet gas in it that is triggered when the chamber opens????

you could have a compressed air/fuel mix nozzle that feeds the chamber that will remove the need for venting.

not a bad idea, what about if you used propain, then it's already under pressure but you'd have 2 mix air too ?
