Happy Halloween peoples! What do you plan to do for this holiday?
Recently I have been surfing the net, searching for the best ways to traumatize the annoying kids/teens of your neighborhood. I decided to start an "official" thread to discuss all of dastardly plans you have to make this Halloween the best one yet! I'll start off with several basic scaring ideas, but everything you don’t know is in the “Tricks no Treats” section. Feel free to contribute your own ideas! Most of these ideas are very cheap to implement, so they won't break the bank. I might be posting this a bit early, but eventually I hope to post videos of the results.
Basic Ideas
First of all, stay at home. I am assuming most of us are 14+ years old, so teens especially will have fun with this. Now, if you are older, and don't want to stoop to this level, you're missing out. Bring some friends!
Second, I find it fun to leave a candy bowl out, so that trick-or-treaters will not think you are home. Write "Take more than 2 and DIE" on a sign. If they take more candy, subject them to your "tricks".
Third, set a creepy atmosphere. Fog can be made using dry ice, a fog machine, or smoke bombs. Music from horror movies, such as “The Ring” or “Saw” are especially effective, cheap pre-made CDs are not as scary. Also, strobe lights lasers, LEDs and blacklights are amazing with the fog. Gory decorations help, but they drive up costs quite a bit.
Forth, if you are not below this, dress up and hide in the bushes. You know what to do. Alternately, dress like a scarecrow with the candy bowl in your lap.
Tricks, no Treats
Shooting potato gun blank-shots, electrocuting trick-or-treaters, firecrackers, you name it! If you follow some of these ideas, you will have the scariest house on the block!
1. Electrocuting Door Bell, Candy bowl, ect.
Ha ha, now this is classic. You can do 2 things. The one found here costs 12 $, and can be used on the doorbell or candy bowl, as the wire is continuous and the spark jumps. This one is free, but can only be used on the doorbell, as the trick-or-treater must complete the circuit between two wires.
2. Scare and Soak
If you have a second floor window above the front door, you are in luck. Buy “pop-it” trick noisemakers, and throw them below to make the ‘treaters jump back. Add a bucket of water if you are mean. Water guns work too. Also, set up a sprinkler in the yard. As people pass by, turn it on.
3. Explosives
Have a potato gun? Thought so. A mini works well if you want to be a little quieter. Shoot confetti or a blank, but don’t aim directly at the people! Alternately, catapult water balloons at everyone within range. How about fireworks? Whistling bottle rockets work great, as they sound like ghosts. Firecrackers and smoke bombs add to the effect. Dry ice bombs make a good bang. Set up string-pull firecrackers as tripwires.
4. “Treats”
Hand out fake plastic poop, fake insects and the like.
I will probably add more ideas as time goes on, but for now, check out this site. What are you doing for halloween?

hmm, not another official thread
not Halloween
lol anyways, i am going to do nothing this Halloween because i am 15 and my parents say i am "to old" to go trick or treating, and i don't live intown. another fun thing to do is to tape/tie someone to a pole and put fake blood all over them and see if anyone goes up to check their pulse
one of my friends learned a good lesson last year about not going up and smashing peoples pumpkins, he smashed a cops pumpkin and the cop chased him down the road and tackled him
another fun thing to do is to get a bunch of craft paint (water soluble) and find someone you know, and dump it on them, i did this to my girl friend last year, got dumped on the spot (im not responsible if you loose ur girl friend because of this) or you could get some of the stuff in glow sticks and dump it on someone, then they will glow
Halloween has been so fun in the past, too bad i don't get to do anything this year

trying to decide on a new project, probably something small.

Lol, I don't think I will be taping anyone to a pole in our nieghborhood; there are no lampposts! And yeah, I am also "too old" to trick or treat, but I am not to old to trick! BTW, good luck on that combustion.

I do a trick every year, where I have a mask and full body coverings and hold a bowl of candy with the sign "Take One Please" taped to it, in essence convincing the kids that I am not real. When the "big kids(13+) try and be cool and take more than one, I slap their hand. It scares the daylights out of some of the kids.

Lol, my arms would get too tired to just stand there holding a bowl! I would just sit on a chair!
