MetalMSTR: Its a co-axial pneumatic

Yesterday i tried shooting my combustion cannon with a VERY tight-fitting foam rocket.Apparently it didnt launch or ignite at all  but once i removed it and did a dry shot, the blast was pretty powerful. What happened?
well, this isn't much isn't it?

The fuel had more time to mix with the air, hence the bigger bang. This theory is if you have NOT got a chamber mixing fan.

I'd say when you took opened the chamber either takeing the ammo out or the cap off you allowed some of the fuel to escape which got the fuel mixture in a good mix to ignite,in other words you had a bad fuel-air mix most probably.

Were abouts from Aus you from? You should add the Aussie flag into your signature,us aussies gota be known! That goes to all Aussies,it's good to know who is an aussie sometimes.
