Flat plates on a pressure vessel
Having a full set of taps up to 3" would be sweet. It would also cost a fortune...

A word of advice, don't let your work piece get too hot, and then quench it too cool it after welding. That could cause it too become more brittle.
Current project: Afghanistan deployment
I know. I can weld, just not nearly as well as the person that will be welding this for me. And I will give *very* careful instructions.A word of advice, don't let your work piece get too hot, and then quench it too cool it after welding. That could cause it too become more brittle.

If your open to victaulic
http://www.victaulic.com/content/
i have a few fittings .
and rigid lock couplings.
unfortunately no 4" caps
4" coupling to 4x3, 3" coupling to 3x2 ,2" to 2" cap.
their listed working pressure is 750 psi
3 in gasket is no good and needs replaced
they're yours if you want them.
p.m. a place to ship them.
roll grooving your pipe doesn't weaken you pipe or remove material from it
vic fittings are the norm in fire sprinkler systems and every job should have a grooving machine set up on it .
maybe buying lunch for a sprinkler guy could get him to do 2 minutes of work?and slip you a 3" gasket? or trade reducers for a 4" cap?

Due to the fact that I got my burst disk gun working again, I won't start this in full until after Christmas. If you can think of something fun for me to shoot from the BDgun, post on the " What would you like to see annihilated?" topic in the general discussion section.
