DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cellular core can only take like 40 psi or something like that, but that's pushing it.

Cellular Core is like styrofoam compared to plastic. Don't use it in a pneumatic, it would be fine for a combustion though.

From what I've seen, Cell core sucks for Pneumatics. I've used cell core for combustions, but made sure it was Sch 40 (Not sure if comes in other sceduals). Don't take it to the bank though, just my two cents.

Wow, I'm a bit surprised the cell-core was that much cheaper... it doesn't follow my experience.
That being said, you'll:
A: spend way more at the hospital than you'll save.
B: spend much more on fittings than on the pipe anyway.
Now, I'll admit that the cell-core probably won't burst untill >200-300 psi or so, but that's dangerously close.
You wouldn't run a 4x mix in a sch 40 (4") hybrid, would you?!

the 6 inch diameter cellular core sch 40 is about twice as thick as 4 inch sch 40 pressure rated pvc. do you think it could take 60- 80 psi every now and then without incident ? but if used at 40 psi max pressure in a pnumatic , would it be okay?

I would'nt use it for a pneumatic like stated. I would'nt risk just trying to put 60-80 psi in it for kicks. I admit I use Cell core on my combustions, no problems at all, and being the explosion int he chamber is around 30-50 psi depending on who you talk to or what you do theres a thought.
Me and BLB had this conversation about force in the chmaber of cell core, and he said take the pressure rating of the pressure rated pipe and divide by three roughly. No do not hold me or BLB liable if you blow your face off. It's a theory and prolly does'nt need to be tested.
But in short, keep the cell core to the combustions...not pneumatics.

I once saw some cell core and it said with some stars next to it **No Pressure** so I didn't even use it in a hairspray comby. No pressure is no pressure, right? My two cents: (That makes 4 cents, counting Ballad's) Every time you see cell core, run away from it. Every time you see it on someone's cannon, hunt them down and kick them and dismantle the cannon.

Well no, some pipe carries that label so that people don' use it in their lawns.
Dam I kicked a topic:(
Cellcore is cellcore, its is fine for a normal combustion.
