I got a question, if the PVC pipe companys rate they pipes/fittings at different PSI, and there are warnings saying not to be used with compresses air/gas, then why give them a rateing?

Right but what is the diff between water PSI and gas Psi, if you can rate 1" PVC at 468 Psi and then do not use it for high Psi applactions, you no ppl likw us are going to use it like that.
