I have seen many pages that cite 40-45 psi as an optimal pressure range. Why is this, and is it a bad idea for me to increase the pressure?

p.s My BBMG is a cloud style

its not the optimal pressure, but the minimum pressure, you can certainly shoot it higher.

If you have a smaller tank of compressed air,using a lower pressure extends the life of it but it can still work well.high pressure=morepower and less continous flow of air if u dont have a big suply.
