Alternatives to Rifling

I wasn't ever planning on building a rotating barrel... just one of those things you brain storm... perhaps some one, some where.... with more money and time then me....
Any way the rubber hose seems interesting I'll look that up thanks...
Cheaper then Dirt has the flechette for sale and I've always wanted to get some just for the heck of having it but that voice in my head keeps saying
"What am I going to do with military surplus Flechette?" Surprised that stuff ain't illegal yet.
Now I have a reason...what diameter bore do you think I should use for that stuff?
Any other Idea's for accurate ammunition I could build or take to the range if I ever wanted to do plinking with my spud gun?

That would be the idea with the fins only on larger scale... perhaps I can just plug an arrow into the back of a spud...

To make your own flechettes, all you need is a nail (those made for wood, they tend to be made of softer metal), a hammer and a hard surface. Just hammer the head flat et voila, la flechette!
