Well you all dont care as you are probably getting annoyed at this thing bettween me and sthorne...
Well I beat him(for now) at 1.4in long.
And yes i did get it to fire, made a weird noise and projectile went a couple inches but it fired :D
i have had only one shot with it and i beleive i am very lucky to of even had that one shot with it and i dont expect any more although i will try :)

Hmm, how do you close the chamber? You might try dipping a toothpick in rubbing alcohol, then wiping it a bit in the chamber, the fumes should light I would think.

The chamber is was already permanently closed off.
it is annoying to have to take out the barrel every time I want to attempt it but I wasnt looking for something practical, i was looking for somthing small :)

I see. Yea the alcohol would soak into the wood, so you wouldn't get much in the chamber, which is the idea. That's the problem with tiny cannons, the smaller they get, the more precise your measurements have to be, or it won't fire.

Didnt want that first post to seem rude.

It must really be fun, getting that thing to fire. Its nice, i for one would not go through the trouble to make a gun that small just to hold a title.

Well I just tried the toothpick thing suggested by paaiyan and sadly it didnt work :(
I did not get any more shots off with it so that video is going to be delayed until i can get it working consistantly
